November 22, 2022 I have been meaning to update you all about Gaye. She is actually doing well. I went up there last week to spend some time with her, otherwise she has been on her own and doing good. She has returned to several of her Bridge groups and enjoying it. She continues with her 5 days of chemo (oral) per month and is finally weaning off of the steroids. She discontinues the steroids this week, and will contact the oncologist if she sees any symptoms returning. Her blood work looks good too. There were some concerns about her low platelet counts previously but those counts have come up as well. She does start a round of chemo this week, but she doesn't seem to be adversely affected by these rounds so, even though it is Thanksgiving week, she will probably sail through this round again.
